Also see how can the animal might have a lot in common with the human and a few things that we can learn from them.

This unit of the book tell that researcher realize that human and primates share some behavioral characteristic. But are we really that similar to the primates? Many investigators say yes since we share a lot in common. For example, they realize that the apes are capable to do sign language as a form of communication. Also, the apes can use tool to get food or do another thing. In addition to that the primate tend to live in social group like human do. We share many things with the primates in their social way and in the living.

On the literature of “The Ape in the office” say that the human and ape are really similar to each other in social group, for example the man in the office how they act. “According to Primatologist DR. Conniff, both primates and human are essentially social creature” “the typically spend their days caring for young and travelling together.” In another word the Primate eve though they are wild animal they can act like the human kind and have their own social group. Also in the literature say that the people and primate use similar social networking strategy to succeed on life, they create a social bond by sharing resource and doing favor to other. The primate uses the same idea of the hierarchies from the human, “For both humans and apes, individual have a relative order of importance, or status, in a group. Their rank or position in relation to other group member, largely determines their behavior”. At the end of the literature say that “both human and primate have strong power drives” In another word it says that both human and primate can cause chaos to gain status, by doing this they can intimidate other and these behaviors can show power.

In the literature “Gender in the wild” tell use of How the gender can affect the family relationship in the wild? In Etosha National Park, show that the elephant societies it shows that the young elephant is raise by the matriarchal (mother, aunt, grandmother, and other female being) as they grow up the young elephant take their mother for guidance and protection. This communal system also helps orphan elephant being protected by another female elephant. While the female’s elephant stays until 70 years, the male’s elephant stay until 14 and go for their own. In Simen Mountain National Park, the Gelada female have the power in the social group. The Geladas live in family group and the female are the one that take major decision. They also choose their mate but when it time to change, they replace the male primate with other. The young bachelor, male live in another group, but when a young bachelor come near the group the other male primate chase him away.

In conclusion, The Human and the animal share a lot of similarity on the social way of communicating, activity, and family life. Also, we can say that we can learn from the animal their way for socializing since there are clever ideas, like the elephant matriarchy that they care of the orphan. Who knew that the human kingdom and the animal kingdom are similar?
